Ringing in the 2010 show season, the Scottsdale Arabian Horse show drew an excellent field of competitors and many enthusiastic spectators from all over the world. Over a week of competition and hundreds of classes make the Scottsdale show a must-see event in the Arabian community year after year. Valuable exposure and close competition bear champions who will influence the breed for years to come. For those unable to attend the show however, missing the sights and sounds of competition in Scottsdale has been an unfortunate regret. Until now.

As the first in a number of revolutionary features to be released throughout 2010, iEquine delivered a live video broadcast of this year’s Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show. Available all over the world, the broadcast was a great success, offering an ideal platform to not only enjoy the show from afar, but communicate with fellow remote viewers as well. New and developing features of iEquine, including live video broadcasts, will continue to make marketing and communication within the equine industry easier and more convenient than ever.

Broadcasting ten days of competition from three arenas, iEquine reached over 18,000 viewers in 78 countries totaling nearly 150,000 site visits during the show. This translates to tens of thousands of hours of show footage viewed between a diverse international audience. We are very grateful to our advertising partners and viewers for their continued support and feedback while we develop the many exciting features that will make iEquine a revolutionary resource for the equine industry.

Perhaps the most direct marketing tool available on the iEquine interface, banner ads displayed during the show proved very effective. We tracked the site traffic of two of our advertising partners, each of which drew well over 1500 site visits directly from iEquine. Much more than a simple video viewer, the iEquine viewing interface includes tools to generate interest, communicate with follow equine enthusiasts, and market equine products and services.

If you haven’t already, create an iEquine account today. Build your profile and join us for more live broadcasts and new features in the coming months.

Hi Laura,

I'm on the phone to JoAnne Newland and I just saw your name here regarding, I guess, the Scottsdale Show. I didn't get logged in in time to watch it, plus I really had a lot of other things I had to get done that week. Both JoAnne and I are logged in now for the Dubai Show and I am looking forward to seeing Kwestura show at halter as I am sure she was entered. I have never seen her in real life. So, both of us were going to E-Mail you and say "hi" when I told her I saw your name! Remember? We orginally met at the Oregon City Wilco Farm Store a few years ago! I still need to come out some weekend to see your Arabians. I've been working Kaiyanka and GW Silver Essence on the longe line to muscle them up until I have time to actually ride them. I sure wish I could find someone with show photos of Kaiyanka (Kaiyoum x Talaena by *Talal) who was a top two-year old at halter in
1987 --she has a show record on ArabDataSource. Silvie was shown at halter in Washington, maybe in Oregon--not sure. She has a record on DataSource, too, but I don't have show photos of either one--I would so love it if someone could E-Mail me some (I would pay for any photos available, too). Paragon Arabians showed Kaiyanka and I believe Ken Davis and Tara Boresek showed Silvie. She was bred by Bill Adams and co-owned by Al Mauck and Renne Buren.
