The Western Canadian Miniature Horse Club Youth Incentive Program (WCMHC YIP) was developed in 2010 to draw more youth into the Miniature Horse world.
By becoming a member of the Western Canadian Miniature Horse Club (WCMHC) you are entitled to enroll in the Youth Incentive Program (YIP). The program is open for all WCMHC youth 18 (as of January 1st of current year) and under.
The youth will be expected to participate in at least one AMHA/AMHR sanctioned show in the current year they enroll as well as submit their age category essay or drawing. These entries will then be judged by the WCMHC executive and the current year breeder. Prizes range from grooming supplies to a registered Miniature Horse.
This program is not restricted to those in Western Canada and if you are interested in participating as either a youth, breeder, supporter or mentor please do not hesitate to contact us.

On August 7, 2011 our WCMHC YIP winner was announced. Jacob will be taking ownership of his new gelding after the AMHA Worlds at the end of September. Watch for Jacob and Gold in the youth classes!
